Boon's turkey with rice and peas is an easily digestible and tasty recipe that is enriched with everything an older dog needs to stay healthy. Thanks to the lean turkey meat, the food has a low energy density and a manageable fat content. It therefore caters for the slowly changing needs of older dogs. Glucosamine and chondroitin have a positive effect on cartilage protection and healthy joint metabolism. Prebiotics and the addition of turmeric, camomile and other ingredients ensure good digestion, stimulate the metabolism and improve appetite. The Mexican desert plant Yucca schidigera can also provide mild analgesic support. Essential fatty acids such as omega-3 and omega-6 ensure a shiny coat and can have a mild anti-inflammatory effect. The older dog is therefore well prepared and can become a healthy senior.
Supplementary wet food:
The BOONS turkey with rice and peas wet food supplement is tailor-made for dogs who want a tasty change in their diet. Integrating the wet food is effortless. Simply add a portion of the tasty wet food on top of the dry food ration and it's ready to eat. Here too, attention has been paid to an energy-reduced composition thanks to the lean turkey meat.
